Subscription Management
The Subscription Management section of the Signchain Dashboard provides an overview of your current plan and guidance on managing your subscription, including billing cycles, renewals, and plan changes. Plan selection and billing functions are accessible in the Billing & Credits section.
Subscription Plan Overview

Current Plan
Your active subscription plan is displayed at the top of the Subscription Management section, showing details like plan type, billing frequency (monthly or yearly), included credits, and base cost. -
Plan Benefits
Each plan provides specific access levels and benefits, including:- Credit Allocation: Number of credits included per billing cycle.
- Enhanced Features: Access to advanced features, such as self-hosted vault options and added security configurations.
- Billing Discounts: Yearly plans offer a 20% discount over monthly subscriptions.

Changing Plans
To adjust your plan (upgrade or downgrade), go to the Billing & Credits section:- Select the desired plan, review the cost, and click Update Subscription.
- An invoice will be generated and visible in Billing Records. Complete payment to confirm the new plan.
Billing Cycle & Renewal Date
Each plan includes a renewal date, marking the start of a new billing cycle. Renewal management ensures uninterrupted service:
- Renewal Reminders: You’ll receive timely reminders ahead of each renewal.
- Grace Period: Accounts may temporarily maintain the current plan if renewal is delayed. After the grace period, unpaid accounts may revert to a free plan.
Plan Changes: Upgrades & Downgrades
Upgrading Your Plan
If you require additional credits or access to enhanced features:
- Go to Billing & Credits and select a higher-tier plan.
- Review the cost and select Update Subscription.
- Complete the payment to activate your upgraded plan immediately.
Downgrading Your Plan
To reduce your plan level:
- In Billing & Credits, select a lower-tier plan.
- Click Update Subscription to generate an invoice.
- Complete the payment, and the new plan will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
Cancellation & Switching to the Free Plan
To cancel your subscription:
- Go to Billing & Credits and select the Monthly Free Plan.
- Confirm the selection, which will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no further charges.
Tips for Effective Subscription Management
- Use Yearly Plans for Savings: Yearly subscriptions provide a 20% discount.
- Match Plan to Usage: Choose a plan that fits your needs to minimize extra credit purchases.
- Track Renewal Dates: Monitor renewal reminders and due dates for seamless operations.
